Pedro Rios on Day 1.

Not long ago Pedro Rios was left with just 25,000 after he got called an opponent's all-in shove for 210,000. Rios held {a-Spades}{4-Spades} on a {7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Spades} flop against his opponent's {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. Neither the {10-Hearts} turn nor {10-Diamonds} river help Rios and he was crippled.

About ten minutes later, Rios got his small stack all in preflop holding {9-}{9-} and was racing against the {K-}{Q-} of Sean Winter. Rios couldn't catch last time, and this time he wouldn't hold as Winter ended up making Broadway. With that, a disappointed Rios made his way to the payout desk.
