Much Ido About Nothing

Level 20 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of {4-Spades}{J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, Ido Ashkenazi was moved all in by Mike Jukich. Ashkenazi called and the hands were tabled:

Ashkenazi: {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Jukich: {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Jukich was in the lead with his pair of fours thought Ashkenazi had the better heart draw. The fours held as the best hand, though as the {2-Clubs} turned and the {7-Diamonds} rivered. Ashkenazi was sent home while Jukich increased his stack to about 590,000.

Waaland Eliminated in Sick Runout

Level 21 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Cory Waaland moved all in before the flop and Tony Natal moved all in over the top of him. The rest of the table folded and the hands were tabled:

Waaland: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Natal: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

Waaland found glory on the {K-Clubs}{10-Spades}{Q-Spades} flop by hitting his set and taking the lead in the hand. He thought he was looking to dodge a jack so Natal wouldn't make Broadway and the {Q-Hearts} giving him a full house on the turn just about sealed a double up.

The river, however, was the brutal {Q-Diamonds}, putting three queens on the board and giving Natal a better full house of queens over aces to queens over tens. Waaland was sent packing and Natal is now up over 445,000 in chips.

Jukich On Fire; Busts Pileggi

Level 21 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The board read {4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{K-Hearts} and we found Mike Jukich announce all in which was a bet for Larry Pileggi's life. Pileggi had about 420,000 behind and pondered for a moment.

"I call," Pileggi said quietly.

Jukich showed {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} for a set of fours and was winning over the {A-Hearts}{k-Spades} of Pileggi. The {8-Hearts} finished off the board and Pileggi was eliminated in 19th place. His elimination prompts a total re-draw for the final two tables.

Assante Makes Great Call; Doubles Huge Through Wexler

Level 21 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The board read {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and there was roughly 100,000 already in the middle. Michael Assante fired 60,000 into the middle and Jonas Wexler announced that he was all in. This was a bet for Assante's life.

Assante took a moment, took what looked to be a deep breath, and announced a call. Wexler quickly showed {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for merely a flush draw and Assante made the correct read- tabling his {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}. He still needed to dodge a heart on the river and he did exactly that as the {4-Diamonds} fell and he was able to double huge up to about 985,000. Wexler, the one time massive chip lead, has now fallen to about 590,000 in chips.

Cheney Doubles Through Palermo

Level 21 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Leonardo Palermo opened with a raise from the button and Beverly Cheney shipped all in over the top from the big blind. Palermo called and the two were racing for Cheney's life.

Cheney: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
