Jobmann Looks Up Gegic

Level 30 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, the flop showed {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Davit Okropiridze with {Q-Hearts}{9-Spades} checked to Viliyan Petleshkov with the {Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and the Bulgarian bet 165,000. Okropiridze took a long time before check-raising to 380,000 and that forced out Petleshkov.

The next hand, Jan Timo Jobmann raised to 175,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Rifat Gegic in the big blind was tempted with {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, then called. On the {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, Gegic checked and check-raised a bet of 180,000 by Jobmann to 400,000. Jobmann called and the {9-Diamonds} on the turn paired the board for the second time.

Rifat immediately bet 500,000 and Jobmann counted his remaining stack before making the call. The {J-Spades} fell on the river and Gegic gave up the 2.2 million pot to drop into second place.

Hossein Ensan
Hossein Ensan

Hossein Ensan opened to 160,000 from under the gun with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and was called by Viktor Kovachev in the big blind with {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. The flop came {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} and both players checked to the {7-Spades} on the turn.

Kovachev led out for 180,000 and Ensan made the call to see the {2-Hearts} on the river. Kovachev continued for 260,000 with the best hand but Ensan immediately announced all-in. Kovachev quickly mucked his cards and Ensan found a way to take down another pot.

More for Ensan

Level 30 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hossein Ensan raised to 160,000 with the {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Jan Timo Jobmann called in the hijack with {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The {2-Spades} river brought no betting action either and Ensan scooped another pot.

The action was folded to Hossein Ensan in the cutoff who raised to 160,000 with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. Viliyan Petleshkov was in the big blind and looked down at {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}. He moved all-in for 1,110,000 and Ensan snap-called him.

Level 31 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

The action was folded around to Michael Magalashvili in the cutoff who pushed all in for his last 12 big blinds with {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. Hossein Ensan woke up in the small blind with {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and made the call.

The flop came {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs}, providing no help to Magalashvili who was in a dominated position. The turn was the {10-Clubs} as Ensan picked up a flush draw as well. The {q-Diamonds} hit the river and Ensan took down the pot with two pair. Magalashvili was eliminated in 7th place and will take home a little over €30,000 for his efforts.
