Moscati and Marder Double Through Cedric

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Vincent Moscati was just seen pulling in a double up with ace-queen against the ace-king of Adam Cedric. Moscati spiked a queen on the runout and doubled up to over 200,000.

A couple of hands later, Michael Marder moved all in for 99,000 in the cutoff and Cedric called from the big blind. Marder tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and was flipping against the {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} of Cedric. The board ran out {j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Marder scored a double up as well with a pair of jacks.

Vincent Moscati Eliminated in 16th Place ($15,580)

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Vincent Moscati
Vincent Moscati

Josh Reichard opened to 22,000 in middle position and Adam Cedric three-bet to 54,000 in the small blind. Vincent Moscati four-bet shoved all in for around 220,000 in the big blind which got Reichard to fold but Cedric called.

Adam Cedric: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Vincent Moscati: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The two players were flipping and the flop of {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} left Moscati in the lead with his pair of tens. However, the {k-Clubs} on the turn gave Cedric a pair of kings and the {2-Spades} on the river was no help to Moscati as he headed to the payout desk.

Salazar led out with a bet of 60,000 which Hawkins called instantly while simultaneously turning over the {5-}{5-} which was the best hand as Salazar mucked.

Cedric Barrels Three Streets

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded around to the blinds and both Martin Ryan and Adam Cedric each put in 25,000 chips preflop. The flop came {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Ryan check-called a bet of 18,000 from Cedric.

The turn brought the {5-Hearts} and Ryan checked again. Cedric fired out another 32,000 and Ryan stuck around to see the {4-Clubs} on the river. Ryan checked once more and Cedric reached back for a bet of 65,000. Ryan quickly mucked his cards this time and Cedric raked in the pot.

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river with a board that read {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{a-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Eric Salazar bet 130,000 into a pot of about 250,000 into two opponents. Jarod Mighini folded and Joshua Turner took his time before calling.

Salazar flipped over the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and Turner mucked his hand after a few moments to send the pot across the table.

Michael Marder

Josh Reichard opened to 23,000 in middle position and Michael Marder called from the hijack. Adam Cedric three-bet to 75,000 on the button which got both of the blinds to fold along with Reichard. Marder called and the flop fell {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

Marder checked to Cedric who continued for 52,000 and Marder stuck around for the {9-Clubs} on the turn. Marder checked again and Cedric fired out another 110,000. Marder shoved all in for around 310,000 and Cedric went into the tank for a bit before making the call.

Marder tabled {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for a set of sevens while Cedric held {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} for an overpair and flush draw. The river was the {a-Clubs} to give Cedric the nut flush and eliminate Marder from the tournament.

The Aces Don't Scare Vaitiekunas

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Joshua Turner opened to 31,000 from under the gun and Jarod Minghini called on the button. Paulius Vaitiekunas three-bet to 106,000 from the small blind which got Turner to lay his hand down. Minghini, however, made the call and the two players saw a flop of {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

Vaitiekunas led out for 50,000 and Minghini stuck around to see the {4-Diamonds} on the turn. Vaitiekunas pushed out another bet of 125,000 and Minghini thought for a moment before sending his cards to the muck. Vaitiekunas flashed {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} as the pot was pushed his way.
