Sheaves Decides to Keep it Small

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Marius Conan raised to 6,500 in middle position and Warren Sheaves re-raised to 25,500 from the big blind. Conan called and the two players saw a flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades}.

Both players checked to the {6-Diamonds} on the turn and the {3-Hearts} on the river. Sheaves finally tossed in a small bet of 13,000 and Conan went into the tank for a minute before making the call. Sheaves turned over {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and Conan sent his cards to the muck.

Lynskey and Nuwwarah Bow Out

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

After a couple of preflop raises, Alex Lynskey found himself all in for around 75,000. Michael Marder was his opponent and the two players were flipping when the cards were tabled.

Michael Marder: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Alex Lynskey: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The flop of {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} left Marder in the lead with his pair of jacks. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn left Lynskey looking for just six outs and the {6-Hearts} on the river was not one of them.

Just moments later, Mo Nuwwarah was also seen leaving his seat and his chips were moving to Alejandro Roman on his left.

Conan Busts Yu

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Sean Yu
Sean Yu

Hand history retold to PokerNews.

Sean Yu opened to 10,000. Marius Conan three-bet to 35,000, Yu tank-called.

The flop came {5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Conan ripped all in for his remaining amount which had Yu barely covered. Yu went into the tank but eventually called. Conan had {k-}{k-} while Yu had the {a-}{5-}.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} and the river did him in as the board paired when the {6-Hearts} peeled off to end Yu's tournament.

Salazar Gets After It

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Martin Ryan opened to 10,000 in middle position and Eric Salazar three-bet to 31,500 on his left in the hijack. Paulius Vaitiekunas stuck in a four-bet to 76,500 on the button which got the blinds and Ryan to lay their hands down. Salazar called and the flop fell {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Salazar checked to Vaitiekunas who bet 50,000 only to have Salazar check-raise all in. Vaitiekunas instantly mucked his cards and Salazar dragged in the pot to climb to 400,000 chips.
