Neal Makes River Call

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

Four players saw a flop of {j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. One player bet 4,000 which was called by two opponents, including Gregory Neal and one opponent folded. The turn was the {8-Hearts}. All three players checked.

The river came the {k-Spades}, the first player to act bet 16,000, and the second player to act thought for quite a while before laying down his hand. Neal then went into the tank and assessed the situation before calling.

"Got that flush?" he asked and turned over the {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

His opponent shook his head and mucked his cards as the table complimented Neal on the call as he built his stack up.

Wang Gets Value

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

Action was picked up on the river with a board that read {j-Clubs}{a-Spades}{j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. Michael Wang made a bet of 10,000 into a pot of about the same amount. Darrell Lee was the one who had the decision to make and he thought for about twenty seconds before calling.

Wang flipped over the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} for the full boat and Lee shook his head and mucked in frustration.

Kuperschmid Sends Pound Out the Door

Level 5 : 200/300, 300 ante

Jason Kuperschmid raised to 2,200 from late position and Robert Pound and one other player called to see the {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop. Action checked to Kuperschmid, he bet 6,100, and only Pound called.

The dealer burned and turned the {q-Diamonds}, both players checked, and the {3-Hearts} completed the board. Pound moved all in for around 11,000 and Kuperschmid called without hesitation.

Pound tabled {a-Spades}{3-Spades} for aces over fives and Kuperschmid quickly turned over {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} for the same two pair but with a higher kicker.

Kuperschmid took down the pot, eliminating Pound from the tournament.

Monosson Rivers Flush to Crack Set

Level 5 : 200/300, 300 ante

On a board that read {j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}, Joshua Heinzl bet enough to put Danny Monosson all in. Monosson thought for a few moments before sticking his full stack of chips in the middle for the call.

Heinzl had the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for a set which was ahead of the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} of Monosson, who had outs.

The river fulfilled one of those outs as the {10-Spades} rolled off and Monosson took a huge pot away from the previous big stack of Heinzl.
