Rodriguez Increases Stack; Tran Eliminated

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Niv Decalo saw action folded to him in the small blind and completed, putting action onto Noel Rodriguez who raised to 14,000. Decalo called to see a flop of {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} and proceeded to check to Rodriguez, who made a continuation-bet of 9,500. Decalo called.

Action proceeded to check through the turn {k-Spades} and river {k-Diamonds} to take the hand to showdown.

Decalo tabled {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and proceeded to tap the felt to wish Rodriguez a nice hand as he turned over {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} to take down the pot with two pair, kings and nines.

Moments earlier, JC Tran was eliminated by Bryant Miller. Rodriguez shared the details, saying that Tran shoved his last 37,500 and was called by Miller.

JC Tran: {q-}{10-}-offsuit
Bryant Miller: {k-}{k-}

Tran hit a ten on the flop but was unable to improve further, sending him to the rail in 15th place.

Jha Takes One Down

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Mrityunjay Jha
Mrityunjay Jha

Noel Rodriguez was under the gun and opened to 7,000. Bryant Miller called from his direct left and action folded around from there to Mrityunjay Jha, who was on the button and called.

Action went three ways to a flop of {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} where both Rodriguez and Miller checked. Jha then bet 9,000, getting a fold from Rodriguez and a call from Miller.

The turn came {k-Clubs} and Miller checked to Jha again. Jha fired a down-bet of 7,500, which Miller confirmed before tossing in chips to call. Both players checked the river {4-Clubs} to take the hand to showdown.

Miller showed {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of sevens, bested by Jha's pair of nines as he tabled {a-Spades}{9-Clubs} and saw the pot shipped his way.

Lee Markholt's seat was seen having been vacated and Brett Murray, who recently moved tables, confirmed that Markholt had three-bet all in from the small blind over Mike Heshmati's raise from the button. Heshmati called.

Lee Markholt: {j-}{10-}-suited
Mike Heshmati: {5-}{5-}

Markholt found himself needing to hit in a coin flip situation to stay alive and was unable to do so on what was a clean runout for Heshmati, sending Markholt to the rail in 12th place.
