Day 1b of the 2019 The World Series of Poker Circuit Bicycle Casino $1,700 Main Event gets underway at noon today. This is the last of the starting days and all the players that make it through today will join the remaining 37 that bagged yesterday.
Players will begin with 30,000 starting chips, and Day 1b is scheduled to play through 15 40-minute levels before wrapping up for the night. All players are allowed one re-entry per flight, and late registration is available up through the beginning of Level 13.
The blinds begin at 100/100, with a big blind ante kicking in at Level 2. Those blind/ante levels will go up to 2000/3000/3000 at Level 15, the last level of play on Day 1.
The ultimate prize on the line is the WSOP Circuit ring, and the right to be called the WSOP Circuit Bicycle Main Event champion. The eventual winner also receives entry into the WSOP National Championship.
Robert Sumpter bagged the largest stack of the Day 1a field with 445,000. Andrew Ostapchenko (365,000), Peter Chu (347.000), Dylan Wilkerson (334,000) and Sean Jazayeri (310,000), make up the rest of the top five counts for Day 1a.
Some notables that were in the field yesterday but will have to try again today include Matthew Salsberg, Phil Laak, Adam Weinraub and Andrew Moreno.
Everyone that makes it to the end of the day with chips will come back for Day 2 Tuesday and join the players that remain from Day 1a. A winner will be determined on Day 3 which gets underway on Wednesday.
