Spinella Leaves Graner With Two Big Blinds

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The break had just started but Anthony Spinella and Stephen Graner were still involved in a hand.

Stephen Graner opened to 110,000 from under the gun, Anthony Spinella called on the button and they went heads up to a flop.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Graner put out a continuation bet of 90,000. Spinella called. The {3-Spades} fell on the turn and Graner fired out 225,000. Spinella put in the chips to call and they went to a river card.

The {10-Spades} completed the board and Graner checked it over to Spinella who bet 500,000. After close to five-minutes in the tank Graner called.

Anthony Spinella: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Spinella tabled top pair with a queen kicker and Graner mucked his hand.

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Stephen Graner
Stephen Graner

Hand #1: Stephen Graner opened under the gun for 120,00 leaving himself just 5,000 behind and Anthony Spinella three-bet to 265,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back around to Graner who tossed his last 5k chip in the middle.

Anthony Spinella: {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Stephen Graner: {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Graner was live but was still trailing Spinella as the flop fell {5-Spades}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs} giving Graner a broadway draw.

The {6-Spades} turn gave both players the flush draw but Spinella held the better with his ace.

Luckily for Graner, the river fell the {j-Clubs} securing his double.

Hand #2: Spinella opened for 150,000 from the hijack and Graner defended his big blind to see a {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop.

Graber lead out for his last 190,000 and Spinella reluctantly called.

Anthony Spinella: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Stephen Graner: {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Graner connected with the flop and the {2-Hearts} turn along with the {10-Spades} river secured his double-up through Spinella once again.

Adam Owen Eliminated in 6th Place ($37,275)

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Adam Owen
Adam Owen

Adam Owen opened for 120,000 and Anthony Spinella three-bet to 230,000 next to act. Action folded around to Owen who four-bet all in and was snap-called by Spinella.

Adam Owen: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Anthony Spinella: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Own was in trouble as Spinella woke up with the weapons of mass destruction but found some life with the {4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop giving him a broadway draw.

The {3-Clubs} turn gave both players the flush draw with Spinella holding the better of it with his ace and Owen needed a non-club jack to fall on the river to keep his tournament going.

Unfortunately for Owen, the board paired with the {3-Hearts} on the river ending his Main Event run in sixth place.
