The plan is to play a total of ten 60-minute levels and there will be a 15-minute break between every two. A dinner break will take place at the end of level 21 and all remaining by nights end will bag up for the final day.

There will be 143 players returning for Day 2 action with 100 spots grabbing a piece of the prize pool. Starting the day this close to the money might make for some conservative play, but judging by the first two flights the tournament should retain the action-filled play that has been up to this point. A min-cash will be paying $2,555, but all eyes will be on the $192,199 first-place prize that the eventual champion will be taking home, along with a shiny new gold ring.

The survivors of Day 2 will come back for Day 3 on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. local time on Sunday which will play down to an eventual champion.

Graner Wheels Whittle's Ladies Out the Door Three Spots from the Money

Jeffery Whittle
Jeffery Whittle

There was heads-up side pot action on a completed board of {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds} board between Stephen Graner from middle position and Jared Jaffee from the big blind with Jeffery Whittle already all in.

Jaffee lead out for 23,500 into a 60,000 pot and Graner raised to 130,000. Jaffee went into the tank for a few minutes and with a puzzled look on his face, mucked his hand.

Whittle tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} but it was no good as Graner rolled over {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for the nuts sending Whittle out the door just three spots from the money.
