The dealer fanned a flop of and Nunez checked. Caruso bet 2,000 and Nunez check-called.

The turn fell the and both players opted to check it to the river. Nunez checked once more but Caruso threw in a bet of 3,000. Nunez shook his head, then threw in chips to call. Caruso tabled for kings and queens and Nunez showed for kings and jacks before throwing his hand in the muck.

Boggs Flops Large and Gets Paid

The turned board showed and there was around 13,500 in the pot. A player led out for 6,800 and Justin Boggs raised to 15,000 after a moment of thought.

The initial better moved all in and Boggs called for his 24,200 stack instantly. Boggs tabled for a set of bullets and had his opponent drawing dead after they turned over for just a pair of aces. The completed the board and Boggs pulled in the pot, doubling through his opponent with his rockets.

A flop reading was dealt and action checked to Nunez who bet 3,000. Caruso folded but Arnold responded by moving all in for 11,300. The big blind folded and the player in early position reshoved. Nunez let it go.

Knoch Grabs a Double Through Little on the River

David Knoch limped from the hijack along with the player on the button and the player in the small blind. Timothy Little checked from the big blind.

The flop fell and was checked around to the turn. The player in the small blind checked again and Little bet 2,200. Knoch raised to 5,200 and the player on the button and the small blind folded. Little three-bet to 24,200 and Knoch responded by moving all in for 67,000. Little snap-called and the cards were revealed.

Dorothy Adams Captures Horseshoe Baltimore Ladies Event Title

The PokerNews Live Reporting Team is at the Horseshoe Baltimore to live report both the $1,700 Main Event and $3,250 High Roller; however, that is just one of more than a dozen gold ring events that have taken place over the past week. As such, we thought we’d profile some of the preliminary tournaments and those who struck it big.

In the $135 buy-in Ladies Event, 65-year-old retired nurse Dorothy Adams topped a 79-entry field to claim a gold ring and the $2,444 first-place prize.

Both she and her husband will continue looking for gold as they plan to travel to the upcoming Cherokee stop. In the past they’ve competed at WSOPC stops in Las Vegas and New Orleans.
