The second starting flight of the WSOP International Circuit Main Event in Rozvadov is set to start at 2 p.m. local time after the gaming floor has been closed from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. as a tribute to legendary Czech singer, Karel Gott, who passed away at the beginning of the month. The King’s Resort will mourn the “Golden Voice of Prague” together with the rest of the Czech nation. Gott was a close friend of Leon Tsoukernik and as Gott’s music touched so many hearts, this was a fitting way for Tsoukernik to show his respect to him.

Day 1a attracted 236 entries in total with 98 players making it through the first 12 levels of the tournament. Day 1b gives the players who didn’t make it and many more fresh faces in Rozvadov the chance to make Day 2 on Sunday, October 13. Players like Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth arrived yesterday and are not expected to enter this event, but who knows, they might surprise everyone.

Other players who have been spotted in Rozvadov but who haven’t entered yet include Jason Wheeler, Timur Margolin, Eyal Bensimhon, Jesper Hougaard, Sofia Lovgren, Yan Li, and Elena Litvinyuk. Muhamet Perati, Michael Sklenicka, and Andrei Makavets are some of the more familiar names who have won a Circuit Ring during this series and are expected to jump into the field on Day 1b.

Martin Kabrhel, Emil Bise, Andrej Desset, Pierre Neuville, Thai Ha, Milad Oghabian all were among the players who played Day 1a but didn’t make it through. If they return for Day 1b, it features the exact same structure as the first starting day. Players will start with 50,000 in chips, twelve levels of 40 minutes each are scheduled. A 15-minute break has been scheduled after every three levels with a 30-minute dinner break after the sixth level of the day.

Players can reenter once during each flight and during the first two levels of Day 2. Players who bagged a short stack on Day 1a can choose to try and build up a bigger stack on Day 1b and select which stack to use in case they bag up again. The PokerNews live reporting team will be on hand to roam the floor and bring you all the updates to see who will all make it through to Day 2 here in Rozvadov.
