Hand #2: It folded around to small blind Julien Robert and he moved all in on Brahim Haji. Haji got out of the way rather quickly.

Franco Doubles Up Fares

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hassan Fares moved all in from the cutoff for 350,000 and Sonny Franco called from the button. Both players in the blinds got out of the way and they went to showdown.

Hassan Fares: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Sonny Franco: {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Franco flopped incredibly well when {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} came down. Fares needed a ten and a ten only to survive. The river was the {2-Diamonds} and that didn't help his case, but the {10-Clubs} river did.

Another Double Paid by Franco

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Edoardo Mortera was all in and at risk with {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} against the {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} of Sonny Franco.

The flop was very good for Franco with {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and the {5-Hearts} denied some outs for Mortera. The river was the {K-Clubs} and Mortera managed to hit a non-heart king to double up to 1,500,000.

[Removed:335] Eliminated in 8th place (183,000 MAD)

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

The flop was {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} and [Removed:335] was all in with {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} and he needed to avoid a lot of outs against the {9-Spades}{8-Spades} of Hassan Fares.

Fares immediately managed to hit a spade on the {K-Spades} turn and the {K-Diamonds} was meaningless. Fares, one of the other short stacked players at the table, almost doubled up by eliminating [Removed:336].

[Removed:336] gets to collect 183,000 MAD (approx. €16,800).

Franco Wins Some Back

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Sonny Franco raised to 130,000 from the under-the-gun position and Hassan Fares defended his big blind.

The flop fell {10-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and both players checked. They did the same thing on the {4-Clubs} turn and the river was the {A-Hearts}. Bennis checked to Franco again and he made a bet of 150000

Fares called and saw Franco open up {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and that was enough to take down the pot.

Kebe Expands Chip Lead

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Jimmy Kebe defended his big blind after Sonny Franco, by far the most active player at the table, raised from the button to 160,000.

The flop came {5-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Kebe checked to Franco. Franco continued his preflop aggression with a bet of 160,000 and Kebe then raised him to 500,000. Franco laughed and mucked his cards within a couple of seconds.

Baltazar Doubles Through Robert

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Isabel Baltazar
Isabel Baltazar

Julien Robert raised to 175,000 from the under-the-gun position and it folded to Isabel Baltazar on the button. She moved her last 515,000 to the middle and Robert called.

Julien Robert: {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Isabel Baltazar: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The board fell {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Baltazar secured a double up.

Jimmy Kebe added that all Baltazar does is shove all in and double up and he got a laugh from the table.

Slow Play

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

The pace of play is quite slow at the final table and they have plenty of time to think about their decision with levels being 75-minutes long. The average stack is about 30 big blinds at the moment, but most of the chips stand in front of ex-premier league footballer Jimmy Kebe.
