Zamorano Left Short

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Antonio Saez Zamorano is coming off a big win at the Golden Poker Million Cyprus at the end of last year for €164,000 but is off to a slow start here in the Main Event.

The Andorran resident was just in a hand with Yaniv Feldman which left his with about 6,000 in chips left in his stack.

Zamorano and another player checked after the {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{k-Spades} came on the flop before Feldman bet 2,300 into a pot of around 3,000. Zamorano made the call and the other player folded.

Zamorano check-called a bet of 3,500 from his opponent after the {a-Diamonds} came on the turn and checked again after the {q-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Feldman bet for 6,500 which covered his opponent's remaining stack. Zamorano went into the tank for two minutes before he folded.

Everyone Loves a Chopped Pot

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Thomas Simsen bet 4,200 into a pot of 5,400 with the {4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} on the board. Maurice Jeevanji raised to 12,000 and Simsen went into the tank.

He asked in French how much his opponent had left in his stack and Jeevanji showed it was around 15,000.

Jeevanji then declared himself all-in and Simsen called off his stack.

Maurice Jeevanji: {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Thomas Simsen: {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Both players were guaranteed to chop the pot with both players having the same two-pair and no possible flushes to come on the river.

The {5-Clubs} completed the board on the river and both players laughed out loud and gave each other fist pumps for the chop.

Flush for Delpui

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

A player with the nickname Dur2win checked with the {6-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts} on the board before Thierry Delpui bet 3,100.

It appeared Dur2win just wanted to call betting 5,100 but this was enough to be declared a min-raise to 6,200. Delpui made the call and the {5-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Dur2win check-called a bet of 8,000 from his opponent. Delpui turned over {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a flush and won the hand after Dur2win tossed away his hand face down.

Tadini Out with Ducks

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Anas Tadini was short on chips with about 2,500 in his stack. His stack went into the middle with {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and was up against the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} held by a player with the nickname Panda.

Tadini began to laugh as Panda paired up on the {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop. Neither the {6-Diamonds} on the turn nor the {j-Hearts} on the river was able to help Tadini and he shook Panda's hand as he left the table.

'I Think You Wait Too Long'

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Fouad El Assri opened for 800 from early position before [Removed:402] three-bet to 2,400 from the hijack. Mihai Stinca called from the small blind as did El Assri.

All three players checked after the {9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Spades} came on the flop.

Stinca checked after the {a-Diamonds} came on the turn. El Assri fired out for 2,800 and Rinkevicius called. Stinca paused for a minute before he raised to 8,600.

The action paused on El Assri for two minutes before asking his opponent how much he had left in his stack. Rinkevicius' 16,000 was visible but Stinca had his 17,000 in chips covered by his hands before showing his opponent.

El Assri tanked for a couple of more minutes and Rinkevicius followed with a snap-fold.

"I think you wait too long," Rinkevicius said to El Assri.

"I had to think," replied El Assri.
