He opened a recent hand from the hijack to 1,000. Luigi Macaluso called before Camel Meriem three-bet to 3,000. Claude Franco called and Macaluso folded.

Claude Franco immediately bet 30,000 after the {q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades} came on the flop. Meriem, who had about 14,000 left in his stack, went into the tank for about four minutes before he folded.

The second and final day of the 20,000 MAD High Roller kicked off at 3 p.m. The payouts were just announced with 61 players remaining out of the 245 entrant field.

The top 31 players are guaranteed at least a min-cash of MAD 40,000 ($4,175) with the winner slated to receive a gold ring along with a huge MAD 1,000,000 ($104,375) payout.

Battle of Nicknames

A player opened from early position for 1,200. A French player referred to as Kalash called from the cutoff before a Spanish player with a nickname of David three-bet to 6,300.

The original opener folded and Kalash called.

David checked after the {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts} came on the flop and Kalash bet 7,000. David paused for about 30 seconds before he declared himself all-in for about 18,000. Kalash instantly folded and David chipped up.

Andreas Zampas bet 6,000 into a pot of around 15,000 with the {4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} on the board. Andre Angella jammed for about 30,000 more than covering the about 15,000 in chips Zampas had behind.

Zampas paused for 30 seconds before he called.

She has had a slow start sitting on a stack of around 18,000.

Stephane Vucko checked before Margets bet 2,400 into a pot of around 4,000 after the {3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} came on the flop. Cid Ghillain called before Vucko raised to 6,000. Margets folded and Ghillain called.

Vucko fired out for 7,000 after the {5-Hearts} came on the turn. Ghillain tanked for nearly a minute before he folded.

Although Pecheux has built his stack up to around 50,000 not every hand has gone his way.

Pecheux checked with about 15,000 in the pot and the {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades} on the board. Ayman Jarrar bet 8,500 and Pecheux tanked for a minute before he folded.
