WSOP Circuit: Horseshoe Southern Indiana, Start of Day 2

The final 27 players are milling in and taking their seats behind a half-glass, half-wall partition, normally reserved for high-limit players. We'll be kicking things off in just a few minutes. These 27 players will be playing down to a final table of nine, also when the money starts.

Though there are no huge names among these contestants, Circuit regular Dean Schultz is in, although short-stacked, as is Adam Friedman, immortalized for a filmed WSOP Main Event outburst a couple of years back. The biggest online player remaining is top-ranked Bryan "Squirrely1" Sapp.

Finally, there's husband and wife pair David Kopacz (who has the chip lead) and Stacy Kopacz (who isn't far behind).

Dean and Adam were needling each other all day yesterday, and have received an adjacent seat draw, so things should be interesting.

Stay tuned!

Pat Madden Eliminated

After Bryan Sapp raised under the gun, Pat Madden moved all in for his last 15,400 from middle position. Sapp called showing {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} and was slightly ahead of Madden's {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}.

The board rolled out {J-Spades} {6-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {5-Spades} and Madden hit the the rail. Bryan Sapp now sits with 67,000.

Kenny Hicks Eliminated

Kenny Hicks raises to 6,500 and Jamin Stokes reraises to 25,000. Kenny goes all in and Jamin calls.

Kenny: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Jamin: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

Board: {J-Clubs}{5-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

Kenny is out in 26th. Jamin has up over 150,000 and is the new chip leader.

Larry Romine Doubles Up

Larry Romine was all in for 12,300 with {6-Diamonds} {6-Spades} against Timothy Vansant's {10-Clubs} {7-Spades}. The board rolled out {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {2-Hearts} and Larry Romine survived, increasing his stack to 27,000. Vansant took a hit down to 34,000.

Adam Friedman Doubles

On a board reading {K-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}, Jerry Martin bet 6,000 and Adam Friedman moved all in for 20,800 total. Martin thought for a few moments before calling with {K-Spades} {J-Diamonds} and was ahead of Friedman's {Q-Hearts} {7-Spades}. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and changed nothing, but the river {Q-Diamonds} gave Friedman two pair and a much needed double-up.

Martin slipped to 21,000 while Friedman is up to 46,000.

Jerry vs. Adam

On a flop of {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{K-Spades}, Adam Friedman checks and Jerry Martin is all in from the cutoff for 20,900. Adam counts it out and finally calls.

Jerry: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Adam: {K-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The turn and river were {5-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Jerry doubles through. Adam and Jerry have been at each other all day, and Jerry mockingly asks for Adam's autograph after this is all over.
