Level Paused

There's a disagreement at Vincent Procopio's table. The staff has elected to pause the event and take a fifteen-minute break with about 7 minutes to go in the level while they discuss it.

Situation Resolved

Here's what happened, and here's the resolution from tournament director John Arthur:

In an all-in situation, the board is {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Player Steve Crawford has {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Player Eracles Panayiotou has 2-2. The twos are mucked by the dealer and the pot is shipped toward Crawford. Then, a spectator says, "Didn't he have a {2-Clubs}?" Panayiotou says he might have had a {2-Clubs}. The dealer is sure that one of the twos was not clubs. Opponent Crawford says it wasn't a club. Then, Panayiotou isn't sure whether it was a club or not.

They went to the tapes and the camera did not catch the action. There's a big argument. The hand cannot be retreived as it has already been mixed in with the other cards. Then, TD John Arthur decides (correctly) to ship the pot to Crawford as there is not enough conclusive evidence that the 2 was a club. Panayiotou is eliminated.
