Getting Down to the Business End

We are rapidly approaching the money. There are approximately 320 players remaining, and 270 will cash. The tournament director just announced we will be playing ten-handed until there are 24 tables left, and then breaking to nine-handed.

Not Quite Raced Off

A lonely green chip was found on table 28. It looks like someone didn't want to join in the fun of the race off. However, we did hear one player say it was the first hand he had one in an hour!

On a flop of {9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} a middle position-player moved all in for 10,150. Jon "PearlJammer" Turner min-raised to 20,300 from the button. Ronnie Jackson came over the top for another 10,000, putting himself all in.

Turner went into the tank for several minutes and finally called.

Jackson had {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
The all-in player had {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Turner had {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The turn card was the {4-Diamonds}

Turner screamed, "HOLD UP!!"

The river card was the {A-Clubs}, giving Jackson a pair of aces and a pot in excess of 90,000.
