Hold'em

We're playing Hold'em, and we're not quite hand-for-hand yet. Two more eliminations before the money hits.

That's Quite a Last Longer

David Grey's made some unusual plays in the last few hands. He folded 9-9 preflop in the small blind. Then he folded 10-10 preflop in the big blind against only one other player. Why would he do this? He's got a $50,000 last-longer bet with someone that requires he cash in the event.

As soon as the money bubble bursts, Ali Eslami bets under the gun and Grey raises in early position. Eslami re-raises and Grey calls all in. He shows A-A and Eslami has Q-Q. What's funny about this is that the board is {Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. David Grey is eliminated in 40th place, earning $5,887. Plus the fifty grand.
