Another All-Star Field

It looks like another all-star lineup. So far we have seen:

Men Nguyen, JC Tran, Erick Lindgren, Annie Duke, Jennifer Harman, Joe Sebok, Eric Froehlich, David Pham, Clonie Gowan, Phil Laak, Jesse Jones, and seated on the same table, Barry Greenstein and Mimi Tran.

Table 14

Table 14 is only five-handed, but those five players are Ted Forrest, Sabyl Cohen, Vanessa Rousso, Eli Elezra and Howard Lederer. It is rumoured that the other 5 players did indeed turn up, but that they headed straight for the door once they saw the lineup.

Daniel Jumping in

Daniel Negreanu is joining us for 15 minutes, while the HORSE event is on a break. It is interesting that they are allowing this as both tournaments are using the same set of chips.

The Flying Dutchman

Marcel Luske is making his first appearance at this year's WSOP. The ESPN cameras are very excited. Players start with 10,000 and chips and the blinds are only 50/100. Remember, this is LIMIT Hold'em, folks. There is no action to cover, but Marcel will make the footage worthwhile.

He jokingly says to the camera crew, "Why don't you give me your number, go and have a coffee, and I will call you in five hours when the game begins."
