About Event #22

We started the $5000 No Limit Hold'em Championship event yesterday with 640 players. By the end of the night, only 85 remained. The payouts start at 63rd place, with first place paying $730,740.

A number of notables are starting in good chip position today, including Tex Barch, Dustin "Neverwin" Woolf, Kathy Liebert, Nick Shulman, T.J. Cloutier, and Michael Binger -- with many more in contention.

Mike Sexton Starts the Day with a Huge Pot

Preflop, Michael Binger raises to 9K from mid-position. Another player boosts it 20K more. Mike Sexton pushes all in...followed by yet another player who pushes all in. Michael Binger folds, leaving three to play the hand. Mike Sexton shows pocket aces. The two other players have pocket tens and pocket jacks. Sexton spikes an ace on the flop for good measure.

Mike Sexton is now up to 100,000 chips.
