At one table, Shawn Sheikhan is in the four seat, Tom Franklin is in the five and Tom Schneider is in the six. Mike "The Mouth" Matusow spots this arrangement as he walks by the table. "How'd you three end up next to each other? Did you sign up late?"
Sheikhan to Matusow: "You got that $1,800 you owe me?"
Matusow engages in a rude gesture as he walks away. "You owe me $9,600!" he says.
There is lots of confusion regarding the Razz bring-in. Apparently, during the Razz portion of the HORSE event yesterday, when there are no raises or bets going into fourth street, the bring-in was sometimes being given an extra card. Dealers today are not giving the bring-in the extra card, and the floor has supported this current ruling.
On third street, Player 1 raises and the other two call. The bring-in folds.
On fourth street, Brodie bets and the other two call.
On fifth street, Brodie bets, Player 1 folds and Player 2 calls.
As Brodie bets, he says: "I win."
Player 1 as he calls: "No, not yet. I still got three little ones in here."
Brodie looks surprised, and they check down sixth and seventh. Brodie turns over 9-4-J for the 2-4-5-8-9 low and the pot.
On third through fifth streets, Monnette bets and is called. On sixth and seventh, they check it down and Monnette shows the 4-5 for the 3-4-5-6-7 low. He's back up to 2,200.
