Delays and More Delays

Day 2 of Event #3 has featured most delays in a tournament that I ever experienced. The first delay was due to the high volume of bustouts in the first few hands of play. Play was also slowed up to address the missing chips mentioned earlier. Most recently, there was a serious delay in the color-up. The staff took extra time to count every chip that was colored up. When a discrepency was discovered, Jack Effel and Jimmy Summerfeld quickly corrected the mistake. This should be the last major delay of this event.

Erick Lindgren Eliminated

Erick Lindgren moved all in with {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and ran into two players with A-Q. He was crippled on that hand and out on the very next hand. Hiis {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} lost to {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} when his opponent caught running cards to make two pair. Lindgren is now playing in Event #5 $2,500 Omaha/7 Card Stud.
