It was a four way pot and the victor was Leon "Chino325" Kunkel. His A-K held up against Q-J, Q-7, and Donna Varlotto's K-9. Kunkel flopped an Ace to send three players to the rail.

With a short stack Thomas Wahlroos moved all in from the big blind with {6-Spades}

. He was called by a player with A-K. Wahlroos could not improve and he was eliminated. He cashed and won $3,478.

Chris Moneymaker Eliminated

Chris Moneymaker busted out on what he described as a "sick hand." Moneymaker raised 7K preflop and Sergei Veytser called. The flop was {8-Diamonds}

and Moneymaker moved all in with {A-Spades}

. He was called by Sergei Veytser who flipped over {9-Clubs}

for the flopped straight. The turn and river did not help Moneymaker and he was eliminated.

Players Go on an Unscheduled Break

So many players busted out in the first few hands that the tournament staff had a difficult time catching up with the eliminations. Every player who busted out on Day 2 made the money. The TD sent everyone on a fifteen minute break so the staff can process the bustouts.
