Two Warm Bodies

Like the $3K event yesterday, the players are a little slow making their way to their tables. If there are at least two warm bodies at a table, the dealer is dealing. There are quite a few tables that are three and four handed right now - with the other stacks being blinded off.

One guy was at a table playing two handed - and he kept looking around the room for more players to join them at table 37. Maybe he got his wish: Michael Binger just sat down.

Who's Here?

On our first swing through the room we found Jason Strasser, Shannon Shorr, Daniel Alaei, Hoyt Corkins, John D'Agostino, Lee Watkinson, Timmi DeRosa, Erik Seidel, Bill Chen, Isabelle Mercier, Greg Raymer, Dutch Boyd, Davidson Matthew, Ted Lawson, Rick Fuller, Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo, Paul Wolfe, Toto Leonidas, Brad Berman, Dan Alspach, Shannon Elizabeth, John Juanda, Lynette Chan, Minh Ly, and Tony G.

More Who's

Other sightings include: Jennifer Tilly, Rob Hollink, Andy Black, Rene Angelil, Barry Greenstein, Jesse Jones, Devin Porter, JJ Liu, Brandon Adams, Jon Frieberg, and Michael Craig.

In the House

Isaac Haxton, Allen Kessler, Chris Ferguson, Victor Ramdin, Young Phan, Kevin Saul, Barry Greenstein, Sean Sheikhan, Andy Black, Jon "PearlJammer" Turner, Michael Binger, Freddy Deeb, and Eric "Rizen" Lynch.

Fast - But Not as Fast

The $1.5K 6 Handed event played extremely fast - with dealers shouting out "seat open" so frequently in the first few minutes of play, it sounded like a morbid greek chorus. Maybe it's the extra chips, affording players to feel each other out a little longer, but we are definitely having a more measured start in the $2.5K.

And More...

Huck Seed, Mark Seif, Vanessa Selbst, Mary Jones, Debbie Burkhead, Allen Cunningham, Phil Ivey, Matt Brady, Michael Mizrachi, Bill Gazes, Eric "EFro" Froehlich, and Michael Gracz.
