Alex Jacob Doubles Up

The player UTG raised to 325, Alex Jacob re-raised to 1,100, the UTG player re-raised to 3,025, Jacob moved him all-in and he called. The UTG player showed {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} while Jacob turned over {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. The flop was a killer-- {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}-- bringing a straight for Jacob and bottom set for his opponent. The turn was the {Q-Clubs} and the river was the {3-Hearts}. No boat for Jacob's opponent and he hit the rail.

Jacob was up to 10,000 after the hand.

A Queen Couldn't Save Liz Lieu

Hoyt Corkins limped under the gun and Liz Lieu made it 650 from the small blind. Corkins re-raised it to 1,100 and Lieu pushed all in. Hoyt had {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and Lieu had {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. The flop and turn of {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs} gave Hoyt the nut flush. The {Q-Hearts} on the river was just salt in Lieu's wound and she was eliminated on the hand.

Mark Gregorich is Flushed

Mark Gregorich raised it to 300 pre-flop and was call by 3 players. On a flop of {A-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Spades}, Gregorich bets out 500 and finds one caller. Gregorich bets out 1000 on a turn of {J-Spades}, gets reraised all-in and calls. Gregorich flips over {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a set and his opponent turns over {6-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flush. The river is a {3-Spades} and Gregorich is out.
