It has taken almost eight hours to narrow the field from 213 to 136, but not to worry, there are still a number of big names to keep an eye on. 2007 WSOP bracelet winners Chris Reslock and Alex Kravchenko are still in the field, along with Main Event winners Chris Ferguson and Greg Raymer.
Stud powerhouses Mel Judah, Chip Reese, Barbara Enright, Artie Cobb and "Miami" John Cernuto are also still in the field.
Although Jeffrey Lisandro ranks 59th on the WSOP all-time money list, and 1st amongst Italian money winners, he has yet to win a coveted gold bracelet.
Currently sitting on a stack of almost 9,000 chips, Lisandro is in good shape to make a run at the final table, and the bracelet that has eluded him for so long.
Having already made two final tables at this year's World Series of Poker (both in Seven Card Stud), Greg Raymer is fast establishing himself as one of the top pros in the game today.
With a chance to reach his third Seven Stud final table in the same World Series, Greg continues to back up his 2004 Main Event victory with consistent top finishes in almost every event he enters.
Facing elimination, Frank Stollmack needed to pair up on the river to avoid being eliminated by David Chiu, who held a pair of tens versus Stollmack's sevens.
Miraculously, Stollmack flipped over a third seven on the river to stay alive in the tournament. Frank is short-stacked, but hanging on with 2,100 chips.
