Annie Duke Eliminated

In the Hold 'Em portion of the tournament a short stacked Annie Duke got all her money in with pocket queens on a flop of {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades}. She was called by Rob Hollink who hit top pair with {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. The turn brought an {A-Diamonds} giving Annie some outs but the river, a {6-Clubs} failed to improve her hand.

Raymer Brings a Kicker to the Party

Greg "Fossilman" Raymer and Toto Leonidas just got tangled up in Hold'Em hand. Toto was on the button and Raymer was in the small blind. Raymer bet the flop turn and river and Toto wasted no time calling all of them. At showdown the board read {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. After having his 24K river bet called, Raymer turned over {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} which was apparently good enough as Toto tossed in cards.

Hanging On...

Thomas Weideman just doubled up when his {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} held against Kenny Tran's {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}. The flop made it interesting with 3 spades {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Spades}, but the turn and river bricked out, and Thomas Weideman is hanging on at 110,000.

Negreanu Takes a Big Pot from Weideman

Action folded around to Thomas Weideman in the small blind who limped. Negreanu, in the big blind, exercised his option to raise by doing just that. Weideman made the call and the pair were heads up. The flop came {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Weideman check/called Negreanu's bet. The turn brough the {K-Clubs}. Again Thomas check/called Daniel's bet. The river brought the {K-Diamonds}. Weideman again checked and Negreanu bet. Weideman contemplated for a full minute or so before finally folding. Negreanu took down the pot and Weideman is on the short stack with around 40K.
