Luske Has Great Timing, Short On Chips

Marcel Luske
Marcel Luske
After being short-stacked for the level, Marcel Luske picked the right hand to move all-in on. With five players already in the pot, Marcel pushed all-in 750. Four players made the call.

Flop: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

A side pot was created for the remaining players, but Marcel won his pot, surviving his all-in, when he showed {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} once the hand was over. Marcel quadrupled up and is up to almost 3,000.

Bad Timing, Short On Chips

After just posting that Marcel Luske had impeccable timing and quadrupled up, a few hands later he's been eliminated. Luske, having just 3,000 left, looked down and saw A-K. He pushed all-in and was called quickly by a single opponent. His opponent showed pocket aces and Luske was eliminated after failing to improve.

Doyle "Texas Dolly" Brunson led out preflop and an opponent came over the top. Doyle reraised and his opponent called.

Flop: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

All Doyle's money went in on the flop and his opponent had him covered. Doyle turned over top two-pair with A-Q while his opponent turned over pocket queens. Doyle was left drawing to an ace, but didn't find one by the river.

Mark Vos Bluffs His Way Into a Hand

Mark Vos takes the betting lead all the way on a board of {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. On the river, Vos bet 5,200, and his opponent called with {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a pair of tens. Vos shows {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for a pair of kings on the river, winning the pot and increasing his stack to 52,000.

After the hand, Vos explained that he put his opponent on a pocket pair of eights or nines, and thought he could bet him off the hand. But his opponent called him down with top pair, top kicker -- and Vos sucked out with a higher pair on the river.
