Forrest's opponent had flopped the nuts, but Ted had straight outs. Unfortunately for Forrest, those outs never came and he is down to 14,500 chips.

Jeffrey Ury Cracks Aces To Double Up

The oldest player in WSOP history refuses to lose. He called a 1,300 raise with {A-Diamonds}

and saw a very nice flop indeed -- {Q-Spades}

. His opponent moved in and Ury called, again announcing, "I have a hand." as he turned over his trips. The other player turned over {A-Hearts}

and everyone at the table cheered as Jeffrey doubled up to 18,400.

A middle position player raises to 1,600 and A.J. McLean, former Backstreet Boy, re-raises to 3,000. The MP player calls. On the flop, both check. On the turn, the MP bets 3,500 and McLean calls. On the river, both check.

"Pearljammer" Still "Alive"

After a couple of hits that saw his stack drop back down to 10,000, Jon "Pearljammer" Turner has doubled up and is back in the hunt.

Facing a 1,700 raise that had been called, Jon moved all in from late position for his last 10,000. Only the original raiser called and they were heads up. The cards were rolled over, and Jon had the rockets, {A-Diamonds}

, while his opponent held {A-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}

and Jon's overpair was enough to take it down.

Ted Forrest Gets Value From His Quads

With the board reading T-6-T-J-T, Ted Forrest's lone opponent checked to him. Forrest counted out his bet and pushed 8,000 towards the center. He was quickly called and Ted showed T-9 for four of a kind. His opponent quietly mucked and Forrest added more chips to his stack which is now around 44,000.
