Razor Plays Like a Little Girl

"Cocktails!" John "The Razor" Phan yelled from his table after winning a hand.

Phan made it 1,200 to go preflop when his opponent came over the top for another 2,800. Phan called and the flop was {Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Phan checked the flop, but his opponent led out for 5,000 and Phan made the call. The {9-Clubs} fell on the turn and both players checked. After the {10-Clubs} on the river, and with the board showing all clubs, Phan led out for 3,000 and his opponent called.

Phan turned over {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for the flush and his opponent mucked. "I need more cocktails," Phan said after winning the hand. "I'm playing like a little girl trying to donk off all my chips."

David Chiu moved all in for his remaining 2,675 and got one caller. Chiu turned over the {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and as his opponent flipped over {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}, Chiu asked, "Do you want to split it?" with a laugh.

"Just don't beat me," replied his opponent. "I went to confession."

The flop was {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} putting a flush draw out there for Chiu, and the turn filled with with the {5-Hearts}. The river was a 9 and Chiu doubled up.

"One world... one dream," Chiu said, as the ESPN cameras rolled, referring to the Olympics. Chiu believes that poker should be an Olympic sport, that "We're all together, playing for a dream."

After the hand was finished another player pointed to Chiu and remarked, "Don't get him going. Let's not wake a sleeping giant!"

Magician Gives Away Secrets

Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari
Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari
Antonio Esfandiari, known for being a magician before turning to poker, wants to let everyone in on a bit of poker strategy:

"Everytime I have a decision to make, I think, 'What would David Benyamine do?' and then I do the opposite," Esfandiari said. "It usually works out."

Esfandiari and Benyamine have been at the same table for the second part of the day, both involved in multiple pots, and both jokingly giving one another a hard time.
