Ugly Turn for DeBora...

..but what a beautiful river.

Flop: {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}

All the money went in on the flop between Greg DeBora and Taylor Caby. DeBora showed {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} while Caby showed 3-3. The turn was the {3-Hearts}, leaving DeBora drawing to a club. The {5-Clubs} on the river was exactly what DeBora was looking for and is now up to 84,000.

Lee Watkinson Shows the Power of the Reraise

Lee Watkinson raises from early position to 5,500, the cutoff calls, the button raises to 14,500, Watkinson calls, and the cutoff folds. The flop comes {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, and both players check. The turn card pairs the baord with the {A-Hearts}, Watkinson checks, the button bets 22,500, Watkinson raises to 50,000, and the button folds.

Lee Watkinson takes the pot, increasing his stack to about 200,000.

The "Doyle Brunson" Cracks Brown's Queens

'Downtown' Chad Brown
'Downtown' Chad Brown
With the action folded to him, the small blind raised to 4,500, Chad Brown re-raised to 16,000 from the big blind, the small blind moved all in for 50,000 more and Brown insta-called. The small blind sheepishly turned over the "Doyle Brunson," {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, while Brown showed {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. The flop was {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, but the turn was the {2-Spades}, making the small blind two pair. The river was the {4-Spades}, and nearly 70K was shipped into the small blind's stack.

After the hand Brown was down to 125,000.

PokerNews Video: Gavin Smith

PokerNews caught up with Gavin Smith, who started the day a little short-stacked but now has over 150,000 in chips, on break from the Main Event. Gavin seems to think Tiffany is bad luck as he had unfortunate turns of events just after his last two interviews with her, but it seems that Gavin is doing well now, so we may have broken that streak.

Gus Hansen Likes 420

Ever since Gus Hansen won a race with pocket deuces against A-J, he's been on a tear. His opponent said that Hansen was a "sick puppy" for making that call.

Hansen just won another pot. He's among the chip leaders and sitting on a stack worth 420,000.

Although Gus Hansen has won four World Poker Tour titles and has earned almost $5 million in tournaments, he has never won a bracelet at the WSOP.
