Featured Table: Scotty Nguyen is a Crowd Pleaser

During the last hand, Scotty Nguyen walks over to Chris Ferguson sitting next to me in Media Row and says, "Chris, thanks for coming, baby." Ferguson wishes him good luck, and Nguyen adds, "I play better because you're here."

Nguyen then turns to address the audience and says something like, "Welcome to the Scotty Nguyen show," and they all applaud.

Outer Table: Rain Khan Wins a Monster

Jerry Yang limped and Hevad Khan raised 500,000. Yang called. The flop was {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Yang checked. Khan counted out his chips and gently pushed out a 650,000 bet. Khan had been unusually quiet and he sat in dead silence. Jerry Yang counted down his chips then announced a raise to 1,650,000. Khan looked at Yang then looked at the board before he moved all in for 1,825,000 more. Yang stood up as Khan sat in silence looking down at his cards. Yang went into the tank for a few minutes and stared at Khan.

"Get a read yet?" shouted someone from the rail.

Yang sat down and said that he'd call.

"I got two pair," said Khan as he flipped over {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}.

Yang shook his head as he sheepishly turned over {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

"Hold. Hold. Hold!" said Khan as the dealer burned and then dealt the {5-Diamonds}. The river was the {8-Hearts} and Khan jumped up and ran over to the rail. He looked as though he was ready to dive into the spectators and start crowd surfing like Kurt Cobain at a Nirvana concert circa 1992. Khan jumped up and down several times before he returned to the table.

"Thank God!" he screamed as he looked into ESPN's camera. "I play this game to win, not to lose!"

Yang slipped to 3.5 million, while Khan increased his stack to over 7 million.
