Scotty Nguyen seems to have the support of the remainder of the fans sitting around the feature table. Whenever Scotty is in a hand, they are cheering him on. Whenever he's been all in, they've all risen to their feet in anticipation of Nguyen dragging another pot.
Scotty Nguyen started the day as one of the short stacks in 27th place. He's currently in the top 5. Rahme's has the most vocal railbirds, but Scotty Nguyen is definitely the overwhelming crowd favorite.

After about two minutes, Nguyen folds, and Philip Hilm takes the pot.

At the end of March, Hilm went deep at the EPT Grand Finale Championships in Monte Carlo. He finished in 15th place. Hilm made a final table at the EPT Scandinavian Open in 2006 when he finished in 4th place. He has only one previous cash at the WSOP, and that was in 2005 during a $2,500 short-handed NL event.
