20th: Todd Brunson

Down to his last few chips, Denis Ethier was forced to commit all his chips with 2-2-3-4 and found himself up against Jeff Calkins' A-A-3-4. There was no qualifiying low and Calkins flopped a set of Aces that brought an end to Ethier's tournament
Here's a hand that explains a lot about Omaha Hi-Lo. Two shortstacks ended up with all the money in the middle. The board plays out and the river gives one player a straight and the other the low. Even though they halve the pot both players let out an agonized groan, forgetting for a moment that they might've been knocked out or crippled instead. In split-pot games the glass is half-empty, never half-filled.
