Not Wasting Any Time

At Table #3, Greg Mueller just took a big pot from Isaac Haxton. On a board showing {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Haxton checked, Mueller bet 49,000, and Haxton called. Mueller showed {K-Spades}{5-Spades} for the spade flush, and Haxton mucked. Mueller is up to 244,000, and Haxton down to 24,000.

At Table #2, Leo Wolpert just took a big chunk of Mats Gavatin's stack when his {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} outlasted Gavatin's {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. Wolpert is up to 170,000 and Gavatin back down to 68,000.

Sebok Doubles Up

Joe Sebok limped in under the gun and Evan McNiff rasied to 8,300. Sebok called and the flop was {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. Both checked. The turn was {9-Spades} and Sebok bet 12,000. McNiff was all in and Sebok called. Sebok showed {J-Hearts}{10-Spades} to {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for McNiff. The river was {K-Clubs} and Sebok doubled to 97,000, leaving McNiff with only 38,000.

The Wrong Turn (for Zaichenko)

At Table #5, Gabriel Costner raised to 6,000 from under the gun, and it folded back around to Andrey Zaichenko who called from the big blind.

The flop came {Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Zaichenko checked, Costner bet 9,000, Zaichenko reraised to 24,000, and Coster then pushed all in for about 50,000 total. Zaichenko called, showing {8-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for two pair. Costner showed {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and needed some help.

The turn brought said help, in the form of the {6-Clubs}, giving Costner trips. The river was the {5-Hearts}, and Costner is now up to 111,000. Meanwhile Zaichenko is down to 52,000.

Congrats to Gracz

On a flop of {5-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Leo Wolpert bet a pot-sized amount under the gun, and Michael Gracz raised to 10,500. Wolpert went all in and Gracz called. Wolpert showed {K-Spades}{4-Spades} and Gracz {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. The turn and river were {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Wolpert was knocked down to 108,000 to 227,000 for Gracz.

From Father to Son

Barry Greenstein has just stopped by his son Joe Sebok's table briefly to see how he's doing. They exchanged a few words of strategy before Greenstein departed, several of his books in tow.
