Calling Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard

Preflop, Leo Wolpert raised to 5,500 on the button and Christopher Howard re-raised to 8,200. Wolpert called and showed {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Howard had {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. The board came {2-?}{8-?}{Q-?}{K-?}{A-?} and Howard busted out. Wolpert and Michael Gracz are now heads up at Table #2, with Wolpert at 369,000 and Gracz at 231,000.

E-Fro Busts Seidel

Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel raised to 6,000 from the button, Eric Froehlich reraised to 17,000 from the big blind, Seidel popped it to 50,000, and Froehlich pushed all in. Seidel called with his remaining stack, turning over A-K. Froehlich showed J-J.

The board brought neither an ace or king for Seidel, and he's elminated. Table #5 is now four-handed (Froehlich, Juanda, West, and Costner).

Leo Wolpert Advances to Final Table

We have our first winner, over at Table #2.

After Christopher Howard's elimination, we were down to heads up between Leo Wolpert and Michael Gracz. Gracz limped in from the small blind/button, and Wolpert checked his option.

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Wolpert bet 5,500, and Gracz called. The turn was the {4-Diamonds}. This time Wolpert bet 13,500, and Gracz again called.

The river was the {8-Clubs}. Wolpert bet 43,000, Gracz reraised all in for 192,000 total, and Wolpert snap-called, showing {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the full house. Gracz mucked, and we have the first of our six final table players.

Beebe Bounces Jacob

Alex Jacob
Alex Jacob
Alex Jacob raised to 8,000 from under the gun, Elton Beebe reraised to 24,000 from the big blind, and Jacob called. The flop came {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} and Beebe pushed all in with his stack of 100,000. Jacob, with 85,000 left, made the call.

Beebe {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Jacob {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

Jacob was in the lead with his queens, but he needed to fade the spade. The turn was the {A-Hearts} giving Jacob two pair, but the river brought the {5-Spades} and Jacob is out.

Boutin Bounced

Preflop, Greg "FBT" Mueller raised to 8,000 and Burt Boutin called. The flop was {3-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}. Mueller checked and Boutin bet 17,000. Mueller called. The turn was {Q-Clubs}. Mueller went all in and Boutin called all in. Mueller had {A-Spades}{3-Clubs} to {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for Boutin. The river was {9-Clubs} and Boutin is out.

Gregg Turk Eliminated

Turk raised to 8,000 from the button, Bill Blanda called from the small blind, Phil Tom reraised to 25,000 from the big blind, and Turk reraised all in with his last 29,000.

Blanda, thinking the betting was over, open folded A-Q. Tom then made the call.

Tom {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Turk {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

Turk already knew a couple of his outs were dead. The board ran out {6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}, and Turk is out. Tom is now up to 252,000 at the three-handed Table #5.

Action All Around

Biechel Remy
Biechel Remy
At Table #5, Eric Froehlich just crippled Gabriel Costner when his K-Q was good enough on a board of Q-2-5-J-J. Froehlich is up to 400,000, and Costner down to just 28,000.

Bill Blanda and Biechel Remy have had a couple of big hands against one another on Table #6. In the first, Remy took most of Blanda's chips when his {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} outlasted Blanda's {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Blanda got some back, though, in the next one, with K-9 versus K-6. Remy is up to 98,000, and Blanda at 33,000.
