Notable Players

There are several interesting tables that are now facing off at these short-handed tables. This is where skill at 6-max play really comes in handy.

Table 1 has Eugene Katchalov, who won the WPT Five Diamond last December for a cool 2.5 million. John Murphy made the top 2 tables at the 2004 WSOP. Joe Sebok of PokerRoad has made several high WPT finishes and is seeking that elusive first WSOP bracelet.

Table 2 has Maciek Gracz, also known as Michael, who has a bracelet in the 2005 $1,000 No Limit Rebuy event. He also took 11th at the WPT World Championship. Jacobo Fernandez took second in the Pot-Limit Hold'em event just five days ago.

Table 3 has Isaac Haxton, who took second in the 2007 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure for $860,000. Greg "FBT" Mueller has a ton of online credits and a second place finish in last year's $5,000 Mixed event. Burt Boutin is a member of the legendary Hendon Mob and owns two bracelets, in 2007 for pot-limit omaha and 2001 for pot-limit hold'em. Adam Levy is known as "Roothlus" online and is one of the world's most well known online players.

Over at Table 4, Tony G is the founder of PokerNews and has won Moscow Millions, the Asian Poker Tour event in Singapore, and the European Poker Championships. Alex Jacob won the Ultimate Poker Challenge in 2007 and the U.S. Poker Championship in 2006.

Table 5 has John Juanda, who plays the highest stakes online, won the speed poker event at the 2006 Aussie Millions and owns three WSOP bracelets. Eric "E-Fro" Froehlich is a red Full Tilt pro and owns two WSOP bracelets. Erik Seidel, immortalized in the movie Rounders for his second place finish to Johnny Chan in the 1988 WSOP Main Event, recently won his first WPT event at Foxwoods and took second at Aussie Millions.

Finally, table 6 has Bill Blanda, who has won numerous preliminary WPT events and recently won the $2,000 No Limit event at the Wynn Classic, and Richard Kirsch, who took fourth at the WPT Mirage Poker Classic.
