There was a pot sized raise from early position and a flat call from the next player and Vanessa Selbst on the button before a short stack in the small blind moved all in. The two early-position players folded before Selbst called.

The all-in player tabled {A-Hearts}

and was up against {4-Spades}

making the flush for Selbst and eliminating another player and extending her chip lead.

A Nice River for Jacob

Alex Jacob limped from middle position, the player to his left called, Eugene Todd completed from the small blind, and the big blind checked his option.

The flop came {8-Clubs}

. All checked to the late position player who bet 1,500. Todd brooded a bit, then folded, as did the big blind. Jacob then reraised to 3,500, and the LP player called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs}
