Where Are You From Again?

After a Stud-8 hand where Hoyt Corkins took down a pot after betting out his {2-?} {3-?} {4-?} board, Marcel Luske and Steve Zolotow were discussing what he had in his hand.

"He had a draw. He was on a draw," Luske said. "You were on a draw right? Of course you were. Mr Corkins from....China. From China....or Texas."

Stuck In The Middle

Stud-8:

Hoyt Corkins became stuck in the middle in a hand with Jared Davis and Jens Voertmann. Davis showed down ({A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}) {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the low while Voertmann had ({4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}) {3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} for trips for the high. Corkins was showing {K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{J-Spades}{7-Clubs} but couldn't better those hands as the pot was split between his opponents.

Corkins is now down to 225,000 in chips.

Davis Nearly Doubles Up

Hold'em:

The pot was three bet by Jared Davis preflop and both Marcel Luske and Steve Zolotow called. On a flop of {A-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} , it was checked to Davis who bet out. Both of his opponents called. The same action occurred on the turn of the {8-Diamonds}. When the river card hit, it was checked to Davis who once again bet, but this time, both players folded. Davis said that he had {A-?} {10-?}. After the hand, Davis moved up to 160,000 in chips.
