Michael and Robert Mizrachi have finally found themselves at the same table, though they're not playing against each other...yet.

If each brother wins his fifth round match, they'll be pitted against each other in an intriguing Round 6 match-up.

Torelli First to Advance

Alec Torelli has just moved past Scott Montgomery and earned himself a spot in the 'elite eight.'

Montgomery's demise occurred over the course of two hands. The first of which saw Torelli move all in for 188,000 on a flop of {9-Hearts} {2-Spades} {8-Spades} with ~140,000 already in the middle. Scott had Alec covered by just 10,000 and made the call with {10-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}; Torelli showed {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} for the nut flush draw and two overs.

The {7-Diamonds} came on the turn, further strengthening Montgomery's grip on the hand, but the {7-Spades} on the river completed Torelli's flush and left Scott crippled.

Moments later, Scott moved in for his last 10,000 holding {K-Hearts} {Q-Spades} and Alec looked him up with {A-Diamonds} {9-Spades}. A {4-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {10-Spades} {A-Spades} board fell in favor of Torelli, sending Montgomery to the rail early in Round 6.

Robert Mizrachi Moves On

Robert Mizrachi
Robert Mizrachi
A Robert vs. Michael Mizrachi heads up match is halfway from being official as Robert Mizrachi just did his part with the elimination of opponent Jonas Entin.

Mizrachi had jumped out to an early lead before striking the final blow. On a flop of {4-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}, Mizrachi led out with a bet, Entin shoved and Robert made the call, tabling {K-Spades} {10-Spades} for top pair; Jonas produced a less-impressive {7-Hearts} {3-Hearts} for bottom pair.

The turn and river then filled out {4-Spades}, {10-Hearts} giving Mizrachi a full boat and sending Entin to the rail with $36,096 in prize money.

Adams Outlasts Patel

Emil Patel
Emil Patel
Poker pro Brandon Adams has just defeated DeucesCracked poker coach Emil Patel and will now face the winner of Roman Paradiso v. Kenny Tran in the 'elite eight.'

The hand saw Patel open the pot with a min-raise and Adams called. The flop came {3-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {7-Spades} and both players checked.

The turn brought the {5-Spades} and Adams passed the first action to Patel who fired a 12,000 bullet. Adams then check-raised to 32,000 and Patel made the call.

The last card off the deck was the {J-Clubs} and Brandon led out with a 50,000 bet. Patel responded by moving all in over the top and Adams made the call, tabling {8-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} which was good for the nut straight. Patel showed {A-Spades} {6-Clubs} for a second best seven-high straight and was thus eliminated from the tournament.

'The Grinder' Doubles Through Selbst

Michael Mizrachi has just doubled through Vanessa Selbst after his pocket queens were able to fend off Selbst's club flush draw.

The pair got it all in on a flop of {2-Clubs} {2-Spades} {6-Clubs}; Mizrachi with {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts} and Selbst with {A-Clubs} {4-Clubs}. Needing an ace or a club to finish Mizrachi off, Vanessa watched the turn and river blank out {8-Diamonds}, {9-Spades} giving the pot and the chip lead to Mizrachi.

After the hand, Vanessa was left with 140,000 in chips to Mizrachi's 500,000.

Selbst Last 'Deuce' Standing

With the elimination of fellow DeucesCracked.com pros Emil Patel and Jonas Entin, Vanessa Selbst is now the crew's only hope for landing a pro in the elite eight.

At the moment, things are not looking good for the newly christened bracelet winner, as her opponent, Michael Mizrachi, currently holds about a 2.5-1 chip lead over her.
