Williams Takes an Early Lead

David Williams
David Williams
David Williams has opened up a small lead over heads-up opponent Daniel Stern in the opening minutes of Round 4.

On a board showing {3-Hearts} {9-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {6-Spades}, Williams fired a 21,500 bet and Stern made the call. The river brought the {3-Spades} and both players knuckled the felt, opting to move straight to the showdown, at which time Williams tabled {A-Spades} {2-Spades} for a flush; Stern mucked.

After the hand, David stacked up ~190,000 in chips to Stern's 130,000.
