James Fortunate to be Alive

Kenna James
Kenna James
The charismatic Kenna James has his head well above average with 49,200. However, he was close to being felted before the dinner break, pushing all in for around 20,000 into a pot of 15,000 on an A-4-K rainbow flop.

His opponent thought for ages, even suggesting that he was going to make one of his biggest ever lay downs. A hatless James, meanwhile, stood up from his seat and stared off into the distance as he waited patiently for his opponent to make a decision.

As the wait continued, the clock was called, but within twenty seconds, he'd made the call for his tournament life, showing A-4 for two pair. James flipped A-2 and looked to be in deep trouble.

However, running queens drew a huge sigh of relief from James who turned to his frustrated opponent, smiled mischievously and said, "Chop, chop."
