John Ngyuen Hates Pocket Jacks

Ben Alcober was all in with {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds} against John Nguyen's {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}. The flop was safe enough-- {Q-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {6-Spades}--as was the {2-Clubs} on the turn, but the {K-Spades} spiked on the river, giving Alcober the win and leaving Nguyen with only 3,500 in chips.

On the very next deal, Nguyen was all in, AGAIN with {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} on a very similar-looking flop-- {Q-Spades} {9-Hearts} {4-Hearts}-- against the {A-Spades} {K-Spades} of David Tashman. The turn was the {10-Hearts}, but the river was the {J-Spades}, giving Nguyen a set of jacks, but making Tashman a Broadway straight! Nguyen was eliminated and I wouldn't blame him if he never shoved with jacks again.
