Hand #35-- Doug Middleton

Doug Middleton limped on the button and Danny Wong and Jason Wald called in the blinds. The flop came {J-Spades} {10-Hearts} {7-Spades} and when Wong checked Wald bet 55,000. Middleton moved all in, Wong mucked, and then Wald mucked as well.

Flushes and Cold Decks

We're almost an hour and a half into today's event and thus far, little action has been seen. We've only seen ten flops out of 35 hands played. We've had three eliminations already, two of which were to nut flushes.

Are players playing extra tight today, or did someone put the deck in an ice box before the tournament started?

Hand #40-- Jesper Hougaard

Hougaard raised to 62,000 and Slaubaugh reraised to 168,000. It was folded around and Jesper reraised another 176,000. Slaubaugh thought a good bit before reluctantly folding, and the the first round of saber-rattling between our chip leaders went to Jesper Hougaard.
