Jeff Williams Eliminated

Jeff Williams was left with just 375 chips after running his {2-?} {2-?} into another player's {A-?} {A-?} and getting no help.

The very next hand Williams moved all in from under the gun and come showdown, couldn't beat his opponent's nut flush. With action on the side, Williams never had to show his cards and he mucked and headed for the exit.

They Say a Chop is a Win

An early position player raised to 2,000. Chris Weaver called from late position as did the big blind.

The flop came {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {8-Hearts}. The raiser moved all in for 9,500 and Weaver snap called. The big blind folded and the players showed:

Weaver: {A-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Spades} {9-Clubs}

The turn came the {6-Spades} and the river followed the {6-Clubs}. The queen played and the men chopped the pot.

Allen Kessler Eliminate

Allen Kessler raised to 2,500 and was called by both the button and the small blind. The flop was {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {7-Hearts}. The small blind checked, Kessler moved all in for 8,300, the button called and the small blind folded. Kessler turned up {A-Spades} {J-Spades} , but that was no match for the button's set of aces with {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}. The turn was the {8-Hearts}, the river was the {4-Spades} and Kessler's tournament came to an end.

Habib and Tran Give Some Back

Theo Tran and Hasan Habib both recently gave up some chips when they tried to send home a short stack.

Tran got mixed up in a hand while holding {3-Spades} {3-Diamonds} against the {A-Hearts} {J-Hearts} of his short-stacked opponent.

Habib played his own {A-Hearts} {J-Spades} against the {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} of his opponent.

Both men came up short in these hands and donated about 4,500 each to their opponents.

Erick Lindgren Takes a Hit

We caught up this hand very late, but Erick Lindgren just lost a big pot against an opponent who had {A-?} {J-?} and flopped two pair. Lindgren's hand was never shown but his chip stack is down to just 8,200.

Allen Le's Stack Halved

Allen Le moved all in from UTG and the big blind called all in for 4,250. Le turned up {A-Diamonds} {J-Spades} while the big blind showed {Q-Clubs} {9-Clubs}. The board ran out {K-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {2-Spades} {10-Clubs} and the big blind made a flush on the river to send Le's stack tumbling to the 5,700 mark.
