We're almost ready to start here at the ESPN Final Table arena. Players have taken their seats and our announcer is about ready to kick things off.

Slow On Action

Though play moved along at a rapid-fire pace yesterday, today appears to be the polar opposite as we just had three players limp preflop and check it down.

This event could be a long one.

Crowd So Far

At present there are approximately 50 people here checking out the action. Most seem to be here either supporting other players, or they are here to watch Erik Seidel play. Currently, there aren't any pros here to support Seidel. That may be due to the fact we are just getting started, or it may be due to the H.O.R.S.E. event.

If Seidel makes a deep run in this event, expect that to change.

Small Pots

Thus far today we've seen several hands where players have limped in to see a flop, then tossed away the hand on the turn or the flop. In a previous hand, we had three limpers who saw a flop of {2-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {8-Clubs} and everyone checked until the turn, which brought the {J-Spades}, when Joseph Haddad fired out first and everyone folded around.

Tom Chambers bet the pot preflop and action folded around to Casey Kastle in the big blind. Casey made the call and the flop fell {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {K-Diamonds}. Both players checked the flop and the turn brought the {3-Clubs}.

Casey bet the pot and Tom quickly rebet the pot, which was enough to put him all in. Casey went into the tank for several minutes before making the call, showing {2-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}{7-Spades} {7-Diamonds} for the nut low draw and a baby flush draw. Tom showed {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {A-Spades} {9-Hearts} for a flopped set.

The river brought the {6-Diamonds}, giving Casey the nut low and a flush to eliminate Tom as our ninth-place finisher.

Dangerous Flops

Martin Kläser just took down a large pot against Michael Fetter. Preflop, both Fetter and Kläser limped in along with Joseph Haddad and Erik Seidel. The flop ran 2-3-3 and everyone checked to Martin who fired 25,000 in. Only Michael called and the turn brought the {2-Clubs}. Fetter checked to Martin, who quickly led out for 45,000 and Fetter let it go.
