Joseph Haddad Eliminated - 7th Place ($34,389)

Martin Klaser led out preflop for 30,000 and Joseph Haddad moved all in for his remaining 60,000. Martin hesitated, then decided to call showing {A-Clubs}

and was crushed by Haddad's {A-Hearts}

. However, the flop fell {2-Hearts}

to give Martin a flopped wheel. Haddad couldn't find a way to improve by the river and is our seventh place finisher.

In the last 10 minutes the stands here at the final table have been steadily filling up. Some are sweating particular players at the final table, but with 6 players left, and Erik Seidel still in the hunt, more and more people are coming in hoping to catch a glimpse at history.

Burum Gets Quartered

On a flop of {8-Hearts}

, both Martin Klaser and Chad Burum managed to get all their chips in the middle with Burum holding {A-Clubs}

and Klaser with {A-Hearts}

for the same low. The turn brought the {2-Diamonds}

, giving both players the nut low, but the {10-Spades}

on the river gave Martin a pair of tens to take the high and quarter Burum on the low.

Not Many Flops

We've had just a few hands since returning from break, yet we've only seen one flop! Once one player raises, most fold around. Most recently though, John Maren bumped it up to 30,000 preflop and Erik Seidel made the call from the big blind. But on a flop of {4-Clubs}

, Erik let it go after Maren fired again.

Chopped Again

Martin Klaser and Michael Fetter just butted heads preflop only to chop it up after Martin made a diamond flush on the turn to beat out Fetter's A-K high. Fetter held A-2 for the nut low and both players took their chips back.

Martin Klaser raised from the button and Chad Burum moved all in for his remaining chips. Martin made the call and showed A-J-Q-5 with Burum holding A-6-Q-Q. The board ran high and both players made a pair of aces with a queen kicker to chop the pot.
