Hand #94 - Rene Mouritsen

Max Greenwood has the button in Seat 2. He folds, and Mouritsen puts out a raise to 120,000. Albert Iversen stares at the chips in the pot for a minute, and then announces, "I reraise." He makes it 380,000 total. Mouritsen quickly says, "All in," and Iversen folds just as quickly.

Hand #95 - Max Greenwood

Rene Mouritsen has the button in Seat 4 and folds. Albert Iversen then completes the small blind and Max Greenwood checks his option in the big.

The flop comes down {K-Clubs} {7-Spades} {3-Hearts} and Albert checks to Max who leads out with a bet and Albert quickly folds.

Hand #96 - Albert Iversen Eliminated in 3rd Place ($267,314)

Albert Iversen - 3rd Place
Albert Iversen - 3rd Place
Albert Iversen has the button in Seat 6, and he opens with a raise to 80,000. Max Greenwood folds his small blind, and Rene Mouritsen decides to raise it back at his fellow countryman. He puts out 250,000 chips, and action is back on Iversen, who calls.

The flop rolls out {2-Spades} {5-Spades} {8-Spades}. Mouritsen asks for a count from his opponent before he acts. He learns that Iversen has about 1.9 million remaining, and he moves all in. Iversen snap calls, tabling {5-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}, for middle set. Mouritsen shows down {A-Spades} {3-Clubs}, drawing to the nut flush and a gutshot straight.

The turn peels off in Mouritsen's favor when the {10-Spades} hits the board. Mouritsen made his flush, and now he has Iversen behind the eight ball, at risk of elimination.

Iversen needs the board to pair, but the {Q-Hearts} on the river does nothing for him. He is eliminated in 3rd place, and will pocket more than $267,000 for his work over the last three days.

Hand #97 - Max Greenwood

Rene Mouritsen has the button and is first to act. He completes the small blind and Max Greenwood checks his option in the big to see a flop of {6-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}. Max passes the first option to Mouritsen who leads out with a bet of 50,000. Max then kicks it up to 175,000 and Rene surrenders.

Hand #100 - Rene Mouritsen

Max Greenwood has the button and makes it 110,000. Rene Mouritsen then announces re-raise and kicks it up to 350,000. Greenwood tanks for a few moments before eventually making the call and our finalists see a flop of {5-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {A-Hearts}.

Mouritsen quickly leads out with a 350,000 bet and Greenwood makes a patient call.

The turn brings the {K-Diamonds} and Rene puts on the brakes, passing the first option to Greenwood who checks behind. The river delivers a second ace and another check-check sequence brings us to the showdown at which point Rene tables wired queens which are good enough to take down the pot.
