David Singer Can't Make it Three Times Running

Stud-8:

There will be something different about this year's $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. final table--David Singer won't be there. After reaching the final table the past two years Singer was just eliminated in a three-way pot with Patrick Bueno and Rob Hollink. Hollink's board read {3-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} and when he revealed the {A-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {3-Hearts} neither Singer nor Bueno could beat his two pair. David Singer was eliminated.

"Miami" Takes a Bite Out of "The Croc"

Hold'em:

"Miami" John Cernuto raised from under the gun. Billy "The Croc" Argyros called from middle position and the two played the hand heads up.

Cernuto check-called the flop and turn as the board came down {9-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {7-Spades} {2-Spades} {K-Diamonds}. Both players checked the river and Argyros tabled {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}. Cernuto had that beat, though, and he flipped up {K-Clubs} {J-Clubs}. Both men are about even in chips after the hand with about 53,500.

Tony G is Silenced

Hold'em:

Well, not so sure if he's been silenced but he has been eliminated from the tournament. From the big blind Tony committed the last of his 5,200 chips with {8-Spades} {9-Diamonds} and was up against Bill Chen's {K-Clubs} {Q-Spades}. The {5-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {K-Spades} didn't leave Tony with much hope and when the board ran out {4-Clubs} {J-Spades} Tony G was eliminated.

The River Soaks Hasan Habib

Rob Hollink
Rob Hollink
Hold'em:

Rob Hollink raised and then called when Hasan Habib made it three bets to go. The flop came {A-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {6-Spades} and Hollink check-raised when Habib bet out. Hasan called, and he called again when Rob bet after the {4-Hearts} turned. Habib again called Hollink's bet when the {2-Diamonds} came on the river and found that Hollink's made his flush on the river holding {9-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}.

Soheil Shamseddin Eliminated

Soheil Shamseddin
Soheil Shamseddin
Omaha-8:

Soheil Shamseddin was all in preflop against Marcel Luske and Chris Ferguson, who continued betting on the side.

Shamseddin: {K-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {3-Spades} {2-Spades}

Luske: {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {J-Spades} {7-Diamonds}

Ferguson: {A-Spades} {A-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {9-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Luske won the low with 7-6-4-2-A and split the high with Ferguson, both of them playing aces and fours with a seven kicker. Shamseddin was eliminated.

Dewey Tomko Straightens Out

Dewey Tomko
Dewey Tomko
Stud:

Dewey Tomko just took a nice pot off of Marc Goodwin. The players showed:

Tomko: ({J-Spades}) ({J-Diamonds}) {9-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {10-Spades} ({7-Clubs})
Goodwin: (X) (X) {A-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {2-Diamonds} (X)

On third street Tomko completed and Goodwin raised. Goodwin bet fourth street but Tomko bet the rest of the way. Goodwin called him down and Tomko showed the straight. Goodwin mucked and is down to just over 120,000 while Tomko increases his stack to roughly 62,000 in chips.
